Roaming Rome
Start your day with a breakfast in the hotel before heading out for a relaxed walking tour of Rome’s most iconic sites. Stroll through cobblestone streets, uncover hidden corners. In the evening, we’ll dine in one of Rome’s charming trattorias, savoring traditional dishes with a modern twist.

Day 3 – Tuesday, Dec 30
Jazz Vibes in Orvieto
We head to Orvieto, a hilltop town famed for its rich history and stunning views. After check-in, enjoy some relax at the accommodations with a light lunch of local cheeses and cured meats. Enjoy free time afterward with optional access to the spa. The evening comes alive with a jazz dinner, where music and cuisine harmonize beautifully.

New Year’s Chill

Conclude the day with an intimate independent dinner at a serene local restaurant or enjoy a quieter meal back at our accommodations.

We embark on a spiritual journey to Assisi, home of St. Francis, where a guided tour reveals the breathtaking basilicas. After a light independent lunch, we will be heading back to our accommodations for a quiet, reflective evening.

A Day by Lake Trasimeno
Enjoy a scenic excursion to Lake Trasimeno, visiting Castiglione del Lago and, if the season allows, Isola Maggiore. As the sun sets, we’ll toast to our adventures with an aperitif in Passignano sul Trasimeno. Our journey concludes with a heartfelt farewell dinner back at our accommodations, giving us time to pack, relax, and savor our final evening together.

Travel insurance is not included and is highly recommended. Participants are responsible for securing their own coverage to protect against unforeseen circumstances, including trip cancellations, medical emergencies, and lost or delayed baggage.

Born, raised, and based in Rome, Stefano Borelli holds a degree in Sociology and is a seasoned science journalist. He has worked for years as a television anchor and has contributed extensively as a writer to a variety of publications. A passionate traveler above all else, his interests span antiquities, art, history, music, and culture in its broadest sense. In recent years, Stefano has immersed himself in the world of wine, becoming a certified sommelier and earning a seat on the regional council of FISAR, one of Italy’s leading sommelier associations. His deep knowledge and appreciation of Italy’s cultural and enological heritage have naturally evolved into tourism. As a Licensed Italian Tour Leader, Stefano co-founded Faery Snail Tours together with his lifelong friend Enrico Cioccolini, leading immersive retreats and workshops across Italy that celebrate the country’s art, wine, and living traditions.
