You arrive at San Fedele, a 1000+ year old former monastery and historic site, which is our home for a memorable week. We are welcomed by the sight of breathtaking cypress trees that usher you to our historic residence. Sparkling vineyards and silvery-green olive groves abound. Already you are in awe and moved by the surrounding natural beauty.
Next, you are ushered to your beautifully appointed rooms, share a moment of gratitude, and then you’re invited to our first gathering to meet your fellow travelers and our generous hosts. You can hardly wait to share with them, enjoy your first sip of the famed Tuscan Chianti, and enjoy the first of many meals shared together.

Our Week’s Unique Adventures

This is Living la Dolce Vita. This is savoring The Abundance of Tuscany.
- A private visit to a family-owned winery and organic farm which produces wine, aromatic oils, honey and delicious local products. We will enjoy a wine-tasting lunch while dining in a picturesque spot overlooking the San Gimignano towers and the valley of vineyards below.
- A high-energy and delicious cooking class that is hosted and led by good friends. We will gather ingredients, prepare and cook a yummy lunch accompanied by wine and surprises. Even those who say they don’t like to cook always have a great time. It is a joyful experience.
- An early morning calm, hot-air balloon flight over the misty, fairytale Tuscan rolling hills. Our flight is followed by a prosecco breakfast in the landing field, and is provided by a company owned by a woman that I, (Marie) grew up with in the U.S. Amazing!
- An enchanting day visiting Villa A Sesta and San Gusmè, amidst the hills of Siena, where our visit will project you into the glorious and majestic landscape of Chianti, in Tuscany. Our excursion will lead us on a journey in wonder.
- A memorable visit to Torre alle Tolfe, one of Tuscany’s famed biologic vineyards where we will stroll, sample, and enjoy a relaxing day of stellar beauty.
- Enjoy a swim or a moment of quiet time in San Fedele’s infinity pool, a wonderful place to nap, meditate or journal.
- Group enrichment sessions which may include: themed conversations, guided meditations, fun and laughs, and creative expression all designed to presence the abundance of Tuscany.
- Massages and spa treatments are optional, and available for an additional charge, and are very popular and much appreciated.
- Beautiful and sumptuous breakfasts will be served daily. Dinners are included and independent lunches may be included in our excursions.

An authentic 12th-century monastery restored into a sanctuary of beauty, quiet, and Tuscan elegance.
For our retreat we will be hosted at Borgo San Fedele, a lovingly restored medieval monastery nestled among vineyards, olive groves, and the rolling hills of Chianti Classico. Once a spiritual refuge for traveling monks, today it is a serene and beautifully appointed retreat center reserved exclusively for our group. San Fedele blends historic charm, refined comfort, and an atmosphere of deep stillness, creating the perfect setting for personal renewal, creativity, and soulful connection.
The Monastery: A Place of Timeless Peace
San Fedele dates back to the 12th century and has been restored with great devotion, maintaining its original stone architecture, vaulted ceilings, and ancient cloisters. Every space feels infused with history, intention, and quiet elegance.
Because San Fedele operates exclusively for private groups, the entire monastery becomes our home for a week. Intimate, welcoming, peaceful: a true sanctuary. It feels secluded yet remains perfectly connected for day trips and cultural experiences.

Flights to and from Italy/Tuscany are not covered.
Independent Lunches and Dinners
Any meals not specified in the program or indicated as “independent” are at your own discretion.
Transfers to and from Meeting Points
Transport to the initial gathering point and from the final drop-off point to any additional destinations is not included.
Travel Insurance
Travel insurance is not included and is highly recommended. Participants are responsible for securing their own coverage to protect against unforeseen circumstances, including trip cancellations, medical emergencies, and lost or delayed baggage.
